Can I receive sponsorship income on a Spouse of Permanent Resident status in Japan?
Only if the sponsored activity itself is within Spouse of Permanent Resident status or separately permitted. Treating sponsorship as passive income does not help if the payment is compensation for content, promotion or other activity outside the authorized scope.
